This trail offers an easy opportunity to experience the CDT. There are a few spots that are a bit rocky and a couple short uphills, but overall this section of the CDT is a good hike for any skill level. Heading north on the CDT, you will find a green gate about 1.5 miles from the trailhead. This is a great place to enjoy the view and stop for a snack!
