Pack-in Support at Herman Gulch I Georgetown, CO

The Continental Divide Trail Coalition is hosting a pack-in support and trail stewardship event on Thursday July 24th from 9am to 3pm . This event is supported by REI.

This volunteer project will involve packing in equipment, tools, and gear to support the CDTC x Women’s Wilderness project starting the following day. Please bring a lunch and clothing layers! We will provide a couple of hauling backpacks but please plan to bring a large capacity (empty) backpack. This is a great opportunity to connect with other volunteers and support important trail maintenance work along this popular stretch of the Continental Divide Trail.

Meeting Place: Herman Gulch Trailhead. Expect to hike at least 6 miles round trip with significant elevation gain starting from 10,000 ft above sea level.
