Celebrate CDT Trail Days in Silver City, NM!
Join us April 23-26, 2026, as Trail Days returns to Silver City. This weekend-long event celebrates the landscapes and communities along the Continental Divide Trail (CDT) with speakers, activities, and a fun, family-friendly festival.
The weekend kicks off at Open Space Brewing with good friends and good brews. Then on Friday, soak in the Community, Culture, and Landscape Speaker Series, featuring presenters sharing their stories and expertise.
On Saturday, head to Gough Park for the Trail Days Festival—complete with vendors, music, and activities for all ages. Finally, on Sunday, connect with the CDT through group hikes and stewardship opportunities.
Trail Days also marks the start of the hiking season for northbound CDT hikers making their way from the Mexico border. For many, Silver City is a milestone—their first major stop on the 3,100-mile journey along the Divide.
