Let’s Get Outside, Hidalgo! You don’t want to miss this 3rd annual event with tons of things to see and do outside in Hidalgo County NM.

Location: Veterans Park in Lordsburg, NM (1 mile south of I10 on Main St)

Date & Time: Friday, April 11, 2025 (2:00PM-8:00PM) & Saturday, April 12, 2025 (8:00AM- 2:00PM)

Ride a bike, take a hike, check out some bugs and desert plants, eat some great food, and listen to some fun stories and good music. CDTC staff will be onsite with fun resources and giveaways, and will be hosting fun engagements, including:

Friday, April 11th (8:00 PM): Join us for a Dark Sky party and star gazing. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the night sky through telescopes, learn about constellations, and gain insight into the importance of dark sky conservation.

Saturday, April 12th (8:00 AM): We will be hosting a community hike and clean-up right on the CDT!

**Register onsite at the CDTC table in Veteran’s Park. Staff will leave at 8:30 AM to walk towards the trailhead along Main Street.
