HIKE for Mental Health with the CDTC I Chama, NM

Join us this October as we hike to raise awareness and support mental health!

CDTC is partnering with HIKE for Mental Health as part of their eighth annual #hikeOctober campaign to raise awareness of the challenges of mental illness, fund mental health research and conserve wilderness trails. #hikeOctober is free to join, open to hikers of all experience levels, and an easy way for your walk in the woods, or around the park, to make an impact!

Hike Details:

A 5-mile round trip hike to a viewpoint of a waterfall

About the Hike Leader: Henry Schelton 

Henry Schelton is a local Community Ambassador in the CDT Gateway Community of Chama, NM. He is a well-versed hike leader, having been trained by the Sierra Club as a trip leader, and holds wilderness first aid certification.

NOTE: CDTC will provide snacks and water. Please plan on bringing lunch and appropriate gear for a fall hike.
