Mac Pass Trail Day | Blazing Trails & Birthday Beers
Volunteer with CDTC at MacDonald Pass
May is CDTC’s birthday month, and we invite you to kick off the celebration by hitting the trail with us! Spend the day on the Continental Divide Trail at McDonald Pass near Helena, and help with light trail work. Help maintain the CDT, AND spend an afternoon on the trail. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the new CDTC MT Regional Representative, Sierra LaBonte!
Afterward, volunteers and friends will receive beer tokens for the evening’s festivities at Ten Mile Creek Brewery. Thanks to our friends at Ten Mile for fueling us up off-trail!
Getting to MacDonald Pass: From Helena, go 15 miles west on US 12. Trailhead is located at the top of MacDonald Pass.
What to bring: Please bring water and snacks to fuel your hike. Spring weather can be unpredictable: Please plan for rain and sun, and let us know if you are lacking in equipment. CDTC will provide all trail maintenance tools and protective gear.
Dogs: CDTC folks LOVE dogs, but we ask everyone to leave them at home.
