Ski with a Naturalist | Monarch Mountain, CO 2025

Join CDTC and the Greater Arkansas River Nature Association (GARNA) to ski/snowboard inbounds with a Forest Service naturalist at Monarch Mountain Ski Area, located along the Continental Divide! Learn about the history of recreation on Monarch Pass, the ski area-USFS partnership, forest ecology, wildlife in the winter, and more.

Meet Friday, February 21, 2025 at 11:00 am at the sign near the Cat Skiing Yurt across from the Pioneer lift.

Guests of all ages and abilities are welcome. The tour is free, follows all green/beginner runs within the resort boundary, and lasts for about an hour. There will be SWAG and CDT giveaways for participants, but pre-registration is NOT needed. A lift ticket or season pass is required, and CDTC will not be providing rental equipment.
