Trail Restoration Project on Lemhi Pass, Montana
Saddled on the Montana- Idaho border, Lemhi pass offers sweeping views of the valleys to the east and west. The Lewis and Clark party found themselves here in 1805 marking “the first time that white men had seen present-day Idaho”. Shoshone people and later the Blackfeet traversed this pass frquently. Volunteers will be tasked with deferred maintenance.
