This Valentine’s Day season, we’re partnering with Leave No Trace to help the CDT community show their love for the trail by recreating responsibly. Get involved with online courses, Leave No Trace gear giveaways, responsible recreation resources, and our ultimate gear bundle raffle.

Help us reach our goal to get at least 33% of the 2026 CDT class trained in Leave No Trace
1) Take the Free Leave No Trace Course
Learn how to recreate responsible along the CDT with this online course provided by our partners at Leave No Trace. (If you are already Leave No Trace certified, with valid proof of certification, you can skip this step.)
2) Register Your 2026 Hike
Complete the registration form. Registration also enables you to receive trail closure alerts and a free CDT hangtag at various on trail locations.
3) Submit Form. Get Free Gear
The first 200 entries will receive receive a free CNOC Thru Bottle and Kula Cloth. (Just pay for shipping.) All are entered for a chance to win the raffle.

How to Enter
The CNOC & Kula Cloth Gear Giveaway is limited to the first 200 eligible entries. Participants must be a 2026 CDT hiker, planning to spend one or more nights along the CDT and the following:
1) Upload proof of Leave No Trace certification via the form on this page.
2) Register one’s 2026 hike via the online CDTC registration form. This giveaway is limited to 2026 CDT hikers/riders only.
3) Complete & submit the form on this page.
No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win the grand raffle prize. An $8 shipping charge is required to receive the CNOC & Kula Cloth Gear Giveaway. By entering, participants consent to the collection, use, and sharing of their email address by both the Continental Divide Trail Coalition and Leave No Trace for purposes related to this giveaway and future communications.
Gear Giveaway Period
The Gear Giveaway is available to the first 200 eligible entries have been received or until the giveaway closes at 12am MST, July 1st, whichever comes first.
Winner Selection & Notification
The Grand Prize raffle winner will be selected via a random raffle drawing held on July 1, 2026.
Winners will be notified via the email address provided at entry. If a selected winner does not respond within a reasonable timeframe, an alternate winner may be selected.
Prize & Shipping
The grand raffle prize details will be provided to the winner upon notification. The Gear Giveaway will be shipped once shipping payment is received via the form on this page. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or substitutions. Shipping is limited to addresses within the United States.
The Continental Divide Trail Coalition can coordinate shipping to an on-trail address, if needed.
Eligibility
This giveaway is open to individuals 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, board members, and immediate family members of the Continental Divide Trail Coalition (CDTC) and Leave No Trace are not eligible to enter the grand prize drawing.
