Big Hole Pass Workday

Join CDTC, forest service partners, and volunteers at Big Hole Pass for a fun day of increasing water access and making this access point to the CDT easier. Big Hole Pass straddles Montana and Idaho and we welcome volunteers from either state for this day of rewarding volunteering.

This project is open to all levels of trail maintenance experience, and the group will be working to increase water access and make this access point to the CDT easier.

Details: August 17th | Meet at the North Fork Ranger Station at 8:30 am to carpool.

Plan to be back at North Fork around 4:30pm. Please join us for snacks and drinks afterward!
What: Work alongside the Continental Divide Trail Coalition, Salmon Valley Stewardship and the North Fork Ranger District to dig in new tread to improve access to a spring below the pass.

Food: Lunches, snacks and cold drinks generously provided by Salmon Valley Stewardship!
