Dark Sky Gathering I Pie Town, NM

Join us for a community and family-friendly gathering to celebrate the stars and experience Bortle 1 Dark Skies along the CDT in Pie Town, NM (April 25-27, 2025)! Presentations will include astronomer-led viewing of the dark skies, presentations on the spiritual importance of dark skies to everyone, a multi-displinary art installation, and learning more about how Pie Town is ground central for the BEST star gazing in New Mexico. Events will take place at the Jackson Park Campground in Pie Town, NM, where free camping is provided (https://g.co/kgs/vPmDcJg). Brought to you by the Continental Divide Trail Coalition, Dark Sky Land, Inc and the National Religious Partnership for the Environment, who are bringing communities together to experience beauty and cultural importance of the dark skies along the CDT in and around Pie Town, New Mexico.
