Cibola Trail Days Hike Series | La Mosca Canyon, NM

Join CDTC for community hikes as part of Cibola Trail Days! Experience the beauty of Cibola County trails along the CDT and connect with local cultural heritage alongside fellow outdoor enthusiasts! Our community hikes are designed for all skill levels and registration is not required. Choose from the following hikes below. Each hike is led by experienced guides passionate about the outdoors and eager to share their knowledge about the CDT.

Date: September 7th, 2024

Time: 8:00am -12:00pm

Location: CDT Trailhead at La Mosca Canyon

Hike Details: 

Trail Difficulty: Moderate.

This hike will be a 4-mile trek from the La Mosca Canyon Rd CDT trailhead to Forest Rd 193. We will shuttle people back to their vehicles at the end of the hike. If some participants choose to hike back to La Mosca Canyon CDT trailhead they are more than welcome to at any time during the hike.

NOTE: We will will keep an update on weather conditions and inform participants if needed. Please come prepared with a backpack, rain gear, and plenty of water.
