It’s an adventure you won’t want to miss! Join us for a celebration of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail and the communities and landscape stewardship efforts along the Divide.
Trail Days 2026 Schedule of Events
Thursday, Apr. 23 | Trail Days Kickoff Party at Open Space Brewery, 430-8pm
We’re back at Open Space Brewery again this year to start Trail Days off right–with a CDT-inspired draft! Stop by for a pour and some trail talk with the CDTC team and friends.
Friday, Apr. 24 | CDT Culture & Landscape Speaker Series, 9am-4pm

Friday, Apr. 24 | Friday Night Fiesta at Little Toad Creek Distillery, 5-9pm
The fun doesn’t stop after the Friday speaker series; join us at The Toad for a fiesta! The Zonora Band will provide the music, and hikers and locals can stock up on tacos at the Hiker Buffet.
Plus, CDTC’s amazing sponsors are loading us down with lots of goodies to give away. Whether you’re out on the trail or just visiting for Trail Days, the raffle is a great way to support the CDT and restock your gear.
Come around 5pm for the festivities, and stay as long as you like!
Saturday, Apr. 25 | Trail Days Adventure Fest at Gough Park, 9am-3pm
Team CDTC knows the way to a hiker’s heart: free pancakes! The Trail Days Adventure Festival is a great way to delve into the local cutlure, visit with vendors, and lay back in the grass at Gough Park with a belly full of pancakes. Plus, we’ll have some fun activities for all ages.
- Grab a CDT token throughout the festival (before the event from CDT staff) to gain free access to the after-party at the Zocalo!
- Free pancake breakfast – starts 9:00am and goes while supplies last!

Saturday, Apr. 25 | Trail Days Afterparty at Whiskey Creek Zócalo, 5pm on!
Wind down with us after AdventureFest! Grab a CDT token throughout the festival (before the event from CDT staff) to gain free access to Zocalo for some live music!

Sunday, Apr. 26 | Outdoor Community Events (in and around Silver City)
Explore the culture, heritage, and landscapes of the Continental Divide through these community-led events.
Community Stewardship: Neglected Mine Trail Maintenance

Time: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Meeting Point: Silver City Visitor Center at 9:00 AM (facilities and carpooling).

Trailhead Arrival: 9:30 AM at Jacks Peak CDNST Trailhead.

Note: May appear as “Chisolm Trail” on Google Maps.

Description: Help CDTC officially open the Jacks Peak reroute! We will perform light tread work on the final two sections of this project to improve the experience for hikers and mountain bikers. CDTC will provide all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), though you may bring your own work gloves and eye protection. Stick around after the work for celebratory snacks and drinks.

Historic Walking Tour with Silver City Museum

Time: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (Check-in: 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM)

Location: Silver City Museum

Route: ~2-mile walk through downtown and Chihuahua Hill.
Description: Join Javier Marrufo, Silver City Museum Curator and Ph.D. candidate in Chicano/a Studies, for a guided tour of downtown and Chihuahua Hill, the town’s oldest residential neighborhood. Learn about the mining-era heritage and social history of the region’s Mexican communities.

Preparation: Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.

Accessibility Note: Silver City’s historic sidewalks are not ADA-compliant and feature uneven terrain.
Community Cleanup with Toss No Mas

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Check-in: 8:30 AM at Silver City Visitor Center (Registration & Gear Setup).

Location: Big Ditch (Access via connector trail from Visitor Center).
Logistics: All participants must check in at the Visitor Center between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM. At 11:30 AM, the group will return to the Visitor Center to load collected trash. Participants are welcome to depart earlier if they cannot stay the full duration.

Become a Vendor at the 2026 Trail Days Adventure Festival!
Kick off the 2026 CDT season with CDTC in Silver City, NM — and showcase your goods, services, or mission to hikers, outdoor lovers, and the entire Trail Days community.

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome a variety of vendors — whether you’re here for thru-hiking culture, outdoor recreation, or just love connecting with an adventurous crowd. If that sounds like you, we’d love to have you!
New This Year: Interactive Booth Activities
Bring your booth to life with an activity!
We have 6 featured activity slots that will be highlighted on our official Trail Days Festival Schedule to help draw festival-goers straight to you.
These slots are first-come, first-served.
To apply for a featured activity:
Indicate your interest on your application and then email Becca Olson ([email protected]) with a brief outline of your proposed activity.
*We encourage all vendors to have an ongoing activity at their booth during the festival
Deadline: February 10, 2026, or until all 6 slots are filled.
Examples include:
• Mini drawing workshop
• Cornhole competition + prizes
• Relay race or mini challenge
• Skill demos

Booth Placement & Setup
Booth placement will be given to vendors after registration has closed (after March 24, 2026).
Setup for the festival will be available from 7:45-8:45AM on April 25, 2026. Please note: Vendors must bring their own tent, table, and chairs.
Electricity
Limited electrical hookups are available are limited. Be sure to indicate any electrical needs on your registration form.

We’ll try our best to accommodate late registrations, but space and resources may be limited. After registration closes, vendors will receive detailed setup and festival information.
